Jamie Lewis is a designer working with sheep’s wool and wool based materials to create his own brands and product ranges.
Wool is a great sustainable natural material and is eventually biodegradable. Jamie works it by hand to turn it into felt using just olive oil soap and water and sources it in other forms from specialist suppliers and makers.
As well as working on his own products Jamie teaches his skills through workshops and projects within schools, arts centres and at festivals. He has also worked with commercial and charitable organisations to create crafts based events and create opportunities for other makers.
